Dave grew up in Farmington, Connecticut and attended Oberlin College and the University of Arizona. He has lived overseas for much of adult life, teaching English as a Foreign Language in Morocco from 1995-98 and teaching high school English in Pakistan from 1998-2008. Currently, Dave makes his home in the sunny climes of Honolulu, Hawai'i.
